Over 60 people came together on October 22 at Bulkeley High School to celebrate our Jr. Apprentices, their families, our professional-mentors and community supporters.
Principal Greene welcomed the group, and after a brief introduction by Director Lauren Silverstein, all students spoke about why they applied to Jr. Apprentice. Then, professional-mentor (and Bulkeley alum!) John Pedraza of State Farm explained why he applied to host an apprentice. All community supporters were also recognized at this event. Joey Garlic’s and Bulkeley staff generously provided hors d’oeuvres, pizzas, and baked goods.
