Developing the Future Workforce through Work Experience

Professional-Mentors

“My mentor encouraged me to believe in myself and what I can accomplish in the future.” –Lesly O., Jr. Apprentice Alumni

Professional-Mentors are caring, committed working adults in the Hartford community. They are professionals in various industries including financial services & insurance, business, technology, healthcare, education and nonprofit management. They dedicate 3-6 hours a week to developing the future workforce. Professional mentors guide apprentices in a project that exposes them to their career, allows them to develop technical skills and knowledge in the field and offers them an opportunity to contribute to the workplace. See below for members of the 2015-2016 Employer-Mentor cohort.
